Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data (GDPR)
This is a content website. It uses no analytics, no tracking, no advertising cookies and no social-media plugins. The data we process is the minimum required to deliver the site and to answer your messages.
1. Controller

2. Server log files
When you open this site, your browser automatically transmits data that our hosting provider stores in log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. Purpose: to deliver the site reliably and securely. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable, secure service). These logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security and are then deleted.
3. Hosting and DNS
The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH on servers in Germany (EU). DNS is handled by Cloudflare in DNS-only mode (name resolution; the site's traffic is not proxied through Cloudflare). These providers process data strictly on our behalf to operate the website.
4. Fonts
Web fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain. No connection to Google or any third-party font service is made when you load the site, so no data is transmitted to such providers.
5. Local storage (language preference)
Your chosen language (English/German) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device, is not personal data, and is not used for tracking. No consent banner is required.
6. Logged-in app area
If you log in to the application area (/app), a strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. It contains no tracking information and is required for the service to function (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
7. Contact by email
If you email us, we process the data you send (e.g. name, email address, the content of your message) to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual / contractual) or Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We keep this correspondence only as long as necessary and delete it once it is no longer needed and no legal retention period applies.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these, contact info@korydian.com.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority — for example the Maltese Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt), or the authority in your country of residence.
10. Data security
The site is served exclusively over an encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connection. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
11. No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or legal requirements. The current version always applies.
